SUMMER AT BRADBY PARK

Stafford House has kicked of the summer with an impressive line-up of summer events.  Here’s a partial listing of what’s to come:

¬ July 8 - Movies in the Park by Detroit Police Department

¬ July 11 – Meet Up & Eat Up free lunch program begins

¬ July 12 – August 16 Camp Greening (Tuesdays) Greening of Detroit

¬ July 28- Public Forum – Meet the Candidates

¬ July 14-Aug. 19 – Youth Sports & Camping – Bravo Bandits

¬ August 1-5 – Youth Golf Camp – Hollywood Golf Institute

¬ August 9 – Volunteer Day with DTE Energy Employees

¬ August 31 – Legends of Motown Music festival

¬ September 24 – Fall Harvest Festival

 

Motown Mission, a group of volunteers from the Methodist church, come to visit Detroit each year to help neighborhoods make improvements and change conditions of streets and homes.  Stafford House was fortunate to have a group of Mission volunteers come out to Bradby Park in June to help clean and clear overgrown brush around the park.  The workers were phenomenal in their dedication and hard work.  Here are some of the photos from that day.
